Bio:Anuradha is an expert in the field of Telecom & Technology. He has 15+ years industry experience in strategy, architecture, engineering, design, plan, implementation, maintenance of CSP Networks, along with legacy to NGN migration and solution designing. In his current role as a Senior Engineer at SLT, he is responsible for consulting, advising, architect, designing & planning technical solutions for SME customers. Learning and sharing has been his passion. When not in office, you can find him conducting training for other global Telcos in Commonwealth countries, as an expert attached to CTO, UK or teaching the final year Electrical & Electronic undergraduates at University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka as a guest lecturer or conducting trainings for his own staff. He is also an invited speaker at many Telecom and tech conferences, including; Carrier Ethernet APAC, WDM & NG Optical Networking in APAC, EMEA, USA & Africa, LTE Asia, MEF GEN, VNF Management & Orchestration, SDN & OF Asia, BB World Forum, Network Virtualization Asia, Network Virtualization & SDN in Asia and MENA and PTC. In addition, he works as a Visiting Industrial Fellow at University of Hertfordshire, UK. He is also doing his own research in the areas of Telco Digital Transformations, Softwarization (SDN, NFV, Cloud). He has so far presented and published several papers and is also a regular contributor to many international blogs. Anuradha holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronic Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka. He is also a MEF-Network Expert, MEF-SDN/NFV, MEF-NF, MEF-CECP, ITIL foundation, Senior Member of IEEE and Member of IET, BCS and ISOC. He lives in Kandy with his wife, son and daughter. He prefers reading over watching TV.
