Bio:Dr. Elizabeth Fife is an Associate Professor of Technical Communication in the Viterbi School of Engineering, University of Southern California (USC). She has developed modules, workshops and short courses for the ICT industry and academic institutions in Korea, China, Japan and other entities in the Asia Pacific region. She is a research fellow at the Neely Center for Ethical Decision-Making at USC. Dr. Fife has conducted studies for Cisco, AT&T, Intel among numerous other global companies that focus on international telecommunications markets and ICT4D. As editor of the Pacific Telecommunications Council (PTC) Annual Report on Broadband, she has produced a series of comprehensive studies on telecom markets in Southeast Asia, including Fiji, Myanmar, Indonesia and the Philippines. She is chair of the PTC Research Committee and co-chair of the PTC Special Interest Group on ICT4D. Expertise areas: technical communication in collaborative and multidisciplinary environments, open innovation, teaching scientific communication in academia and industry environments, ICT4D.
