NGSO Constellations are promising to change the satellite communications landscape. As of today, hundreds of NGSO satellites have already been launched and thousands more are planned. Potentially, these future global networks will facilitate universal access in ways we are only beginning to understand. At the very least, they will challenge the existing satcom industry.

Some operators are targeting backhaul and the enterprise market, while others are focused on bridging the digital divide and offering direct-to-consumer services.  With billions of dollars at stake, their business models are not only disruptive, they are also risky.  What can we expect their impact will be in Asia-Pacific?
