WEB_DESC:In line with PTC Cable Session tradition, and led by Tony Mosley, PTC’22 will take you on a tour of the major new submarine cable systems- planned, underway or recently commissioned to provide service throughout the globe, highlighting also some of the major challenges faced in expanding our global network.  This year, we’ll be focusing not only on the major routes we’re quite familiar with – some of which seem now to be on a continuous build cycle and others which are undergoing a refresh (Atlantic, Pacific, Oceana, LATAM, Africa & Middle East, Eurasia), but also a new one which seems to be gaining traction- the northern Arctic region. As always, it will be very informative, with insights shared by a spectrum of knowledgeable industry leaders.

Again per our tradition, Kent Bressie will be providing his view of Security and Regulatory Challenges for current and future cable projects. Kent comes with the unique perspective of his work for clients  especially focused on securing licenses for cables in the US, but at least as important, with his broader perspective in supporting global regulatory issues for the ICPC.
