Bio:Melchizedek Alipio is an associate professor at the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering at De La Salle University in Manila, Philippines. He is currently working on his postdoctoral fellowship in the System Testing Intelligent Laboratory (STILL) at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Electrical Engineering of Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute (EEEI) of the University of the Philippines Diliman in 2018. He authored and co-authored 35 Scopus-indexed papers, was a recipient of three IEEE best paper awards and four Internet-related fellowship awards, and co-led two government-funded research projects. His research interests include centralized IoT, Wireless Sensor Networks in IoT, and Predictive Analytics and Machine Learning in IoT.
