Bio:Dr. Erezi R. Ogbo is a Postdoctoral Scholar - Research Associate in the Annenberg School for Communication and Journalism at the University of Southern California (USC). Her research examines technology acceptance, use, and impact among marginalized populations, digital justice, and telecommunications policy. Her work has been published in the Journal of Information Policy and presented at international conferences. In 2014, she was recognized as a promising young scholar by the Federal Government of Nigeria and awarded the Presidential Special Scholarship for Innovation and Development.
She holds an MSc and Ph.D. in Engineering and Public Policy from Carnegie Mellon University, an MSc in Management and Information Technology from the University of St Andrews, Scotland, and a BTech in Information Technology from Bells University of Technology, Nigeria. She is a Visiting Assistant Professor at North Carolina Central University (NCCU) and served as a Distance Education Coordinator at NCCU prior to joining USC.
