Bio:Eddie is a well-known veteran in the space industry. Eddie was just appointed as President and Managing Director of Astroscale in Tokyo, Japan. He will head the company’s 150 people and rapidly growing team for providing on-orbit services, including space debris removal, space situational awareness, space robotics, etc. For this assignment, he will be stationed in Japan after spending more than 30 years in USA. Prior to Astroscale, Eddie successfully built and ran his own strategic advisory firm, HISe of Maryland, for 8 years, mainly serving Asia Pacific clients. Prior to this, Eddie worked at Thales. He served as CEO of North American subsidiary (Washington DC), Senior VP at French Headquarters (Cannes), and VP at Asia Pacific Office (Beijing). Before Thales, Eddie worked at Orbital Sciences (Virginia), General Electric (New Jersey) and Mitsubishi Electric (Tokyo). Eddie graduated from Yokohama City University of Japan, majoring in International Relations.
