He has been ranked among the world’s top 0.03% researchers according to Elsevier and Stanford University’s “Updated science-wide author databases of standardized citation indicators” published in 2021 ( Nir’s work has been featured by hundreds of media outlets, such as BBC, Economist, Al Jazeera, Wall Street Journal, Foreign Policy, Public Radio International, Scientific American, and Bloomberg TV.
