Bio:Josie is an award-winning Event Planning and Communication Specialist with over 15 years of expertise in Event Planning and Event Management for government and telecom sectors; additionally, Luxury Brand Business Development and high profile public relations campaigns.
Josie started her career in Washington, D.C. planning events and conferences at the Ronald Reagan Building and International Trade Center where she regularly hosted POTUS, and managed government relations events such as the G20 Summit and international dignitaries.
Simultaneous to her fast paced corporate obligations, she founded Edgemont Events & PR in 2016 which focuses on the IT, Tech and Telecom market segments.
Beginning in 2022, she began working with Arcadian Infracom in events and marketing.
Josie is the President of LSU Atlanta Alumni Association, sits on several philanthropic Boards for non-profit organizations such as The Trust for the National Mall in Washington, D.C., and is actively involved in the Atlanta Ballet and the Junior League of Atlanta. She's been recognized in both Atlanta and Washington, D.C. as Top 40 Under 40.
She attended LSU in Baton Rouge and received her CSP at Georgetown University. She resides in Atlanta, GA with her husband and German Short Haired puppy, Birdie.
